The H.E.A.R.T. Economy™ transforms positive behaviour into a rewarding and engaging experience. Students earn H.E.A.R.T. Points by demonstrating Honesty, Effort, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork both inside and outside the classroom. As points accumulate, students learn valuable lessons about goal setting, delayed gratification, decision-making, and personal responsibility while working toward meaningful rewards, recognition opportunities, and leadership milestones.
The Legacy Project™ encourages students to think beyond grades, popularity, and short-term achievements by helping them identify the kind of person they want to become. Students create a personal Legacy Statement, revisit it throughout the school year, and track how their actions align with their goals. Over time, students build a living record of their growth, character development, and aspirations, creating a meaningful reflection of their journey through school.
The Invisible Team™ helps students recognize the network of people who contribute to their success every day. Through interactive activities, challenges, and team-building experiences, students identify the teachers, family members, friends, mentors, and community members who support them. As their team grows, students learn the importance of gratitude, collaboration, and becoming a positive support system for others.
The 1% Challenge™ teaches students that meaningful growth happens through small, consistent actions over time. Each week, students identify one area where they want to improve and commit to becoming just 1% better than they were before. Through reflection, goal setting, and group discussion, students develop confidence, accountability, resilience, and a growth mindset while celebrating progress rather than perfection.
The Voice Project™ helps students develop the confidence and communication skills needed to express themselves effectively in school, at home, and in their communities. Through interactive activities, discussions, and real-world scenarios, students learn how to communicate with clarity, listen actively, advocate for themselves respectfully, and build meaningful relationships. As their confidence grows, students become more comfortable sharing ideas, resolving conflicts, and stepping into leadership opportunities.
The Digital Compass™ helps students make informed and responsible decisions in an increasingly connected world. Through engaging discussions and real-world examples, students explore digital citizenship, online safety, social media awareness, privacy, and critical thinking. The program empowers young people to recognize risks, protect their digital footprint, and use technology as a tool for learning, creativity, and positive connection.
The Bridge™ supports students as they navigate important transitions throughout their educational journey. Whether moving from elementary to middle school or middle school to high school, students explore topics such as confidence, responsibility, changing expectations, friendships, and personal growth. Through reflection and practical learning experiences, students gain the tools they need to approach new environments with confidence and resilience.
The Impact Project™ encourages students to recognize their ability to make a positive difference within their schools and communities. Through collaborative projects, problem-solving activities, and community-focused initiatives, students identify challenges, develop solutions, and take meaningful action. The program helps youth understand that leadership is not about titles — it is about creating positive change through service, responsibility, and initiative.
The Respect Effect™ helps students understand the powerful role respect plays in healthy relationships, positive school culture, and personal success. Through engaging discussions and interactive experiences, students explore self-respect, empathy, inclusion, conflict resolution, and accountability. As students develop a deeper understanding of respect for themselves and others, they strengthen their ability to build positive relationships and contribute to supportive communities.
The Response Factor™ teaches students that while they cannot control every situation they face, they can control how they respond to it. Through interactive activities, real-world scenarios, and guided discussions, students learn how their reactions, choices, and attitudes influence their relationships, opportunities, and future outcomes. The program helps youth develop emotional intelligence, accountability, resilience, and decision-making skills while reinforcing the importance of responding with purpose rather than reacting on impulse.

Built around the H.E.A.R.T. Framework, our programs help students develop character, leadership, accountability, and life skills through engaging, interactive experiences that create meaningful and measurable growth.
At HYI, we believe character is not taught through lectures—it is built through experience.
Our innovative programs are designed for students in Grades 2–12 and are built around the H.E.A.R.T. Framework: Honesty, Effort, Accountability, Respect, and Teamwork.
Rather than delivering one-time presentations, HYI creates interactive experiences that help students develop positive habits, strengthen decision-making skills, build meaningful relationships, and become active contributors within their schools and communities.
Through school-wide initiatives, leadership development, mentorship, recognition systems, and real-world learning opportunities, students are encouraged to grow into confident, responsible, and community-minded leaders.
Our approach is simple: meet students where they are today and help them become who they are capable of being tomorrow.
